Pastor Paul Wolfe

Paul is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in American Government. After several years of working on Capitol Hill in Washington, Paul attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He received his MDiv degree from Westminster in 2000. Later that same year he was called as New Hope's Associate Pastor. He served in that role for over 17 years until becoming New Hope's Senior Pastor on January 1, 2018. In 2017 Paul received his ThM degree, also from Westminster, with a thesis on seventeenth-century English theologian Anthony Burgess and his work on justification.

Paul is the author of three books: My God Is True: Lessons Learned Along Cancer's Dark Road (2009); Setting Our Sights on Heaven: Why It's Hard and Why It's Worth It (2011); and Suffering: God's Purpose in our Pain (2023).

Paul and his wife Christy have been married for over twenty-five years, and have three children.
